Cracks, chips and fractures in tile repaired or replaced so floors and walls look whole and safe again.
A single cracked tile can ruin the look of a whole floor. It also makes a sharp edge, collects dirt and often means something deeper is wrong: a hollow spot, a floor that flexes or a heavy object that struck the surface. Cracks often start at a corner, run straight across or look like a spiderweb, and each pattern points to a different cause. Replacing all the tile is rarely necessary.
We start by finding out why the tile cracked, since fixing the tile without fixing the cause invites a repeat. Small chips and hairline cracks can often be filled and color-blended. Fractured tile is carefully removed, the bed is cleaned and prepared and a matching replacement is set and grouted. When an exact match is not available, we look for the closest tile, use salvaged pieces from a closet or hidden area or suggest ways to make the repair look intentional. We tell you honestly how the finished repair will look.
Impact, movement, a hollow bed or a flexing floor all crack tile differently, and the repair depends on why.
Small chips can be filled and blended, while fractured tile is removed and replaced.
We search for the closest tile, salvage from hidden spots and set the new piece neatly.
We explain how closely a repair will match so you are not surprised.

Impacts, house movement, a weak or hollow bed and thermal stress are common causes.
Often yes, by filling and blending, though it will not be invisible up close.
We can salvage from a closet, search suppliers or suggest design solutions.
If the cause is movement or a hollow bed, others may. We check and tell you.
