New tile rarely looks finished. Here is how haze removal, grout touch-ups and sealing bring it to handoff standard.
At the end of a build, tile is surrounded by dust and residue. Grout haze clouds the faces. Thinset specks, paint drips and drywall dust cling to corners. Grout may have pinholes, low spots or color variation, and the sealer that was supposed to protect the stone may have been applied to dirty surfaces or skipped entirely. These are the details owners and buyers notice during a final walk-through.
A finishing visit solves them. We remove haze and construction residue without harming the tile, touch up grout lines, caulk corners and transitions and apply sealer to clean, dry surfaces. We work with builders, tile setters and owners to fit the schedule, and give photos of before and after. Good finishing also sets up the surface for easy care: sealed grout, clean joints and flexible corners are the foundation of tile that stays beautiful for years.
