Floor Tile Regrouting

Kitchen, bath, entry and living-area floors regrouted with durable grout that stands up to feet, furniture and mops.

Floors take the worst of it. Gritty shoes, rolling chairs, heavy appliances, spills and mops all grind away at grout. Over time lines sink below the tile edge, collect dirt and crack where the floor flexes. A tile floor with failing grout looks tired even when the tile is perfect, and chipped edges and loose tiles are not far behind once grout stops holding the tile together.

We remove old floor grout carefully, using vacuum-assisted tools to keep dust down, and check for hollow-sounding or cracked tiles. We fill the joints with a floor-grade grout chosen for the tile, the joint width and the room, such as sanded cement or epoxy for kitchens and entries. Joints are packed fully, tooled consistently and cleaned from the tile face without leaving haze. Finally we seal where needed and give you a cure schedule so furniture and traffic come back at the right time.

Floor-grade grout

We choose sanded, epoxy or urethane grout to match the traffic and the width of your joints.

Hollow tile check

We tap the floor to find loose or hollow tiles that need attention before grout goes in.

Dust control

Vacuum-assisted cutting and careful protection keep your home cleaner during removal.

Haze-free finish

Tile faces are cleaned as we go so no haze is left on the surface.

Questions

Floor Tile Regrouting FAQ

How long does floor regrouting take?

A bathroom or entry often takes a day. Large kitchens or open floors may take two or more days including cure.

Is regrouting messy?

We use vacuum-assisted tools and protection to keep dust low.

Can I walk on the floor afterward?

Light foot traffic is often fine after a short cure, and heavy use waits longer. We give exact timing.

What grout is best for floors?

Sanded cement grout is common, and epoxy or urethane grout is a strong choice for kitchens and entries.

What if some tiles are loose?

We can reattach loose tiles before regrouting so the floor is solid.
