Getting started

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The visit and the estimate are free and come with no obligation. You approve a written scope and price before any work begins.

What areas do you serve?

Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and more. See the service areas page for the full list.

Do you work for homeowners, builders and businesses?

All three. We work for homeowners, builders, property managers, HOAs, restaurants, churches, schools, real estate agents and commercial owners.

What kinds of work do you do?

Grout cleaning, sealing, recoloring and regrouting, tile cleaning and repair, caulk replacement, stone restoration, commercial floor care and planning help.

Grout

Do I need to clean, recolor or regrout?

Clean when grout is dirty but firm, recolor when it is stained but sound and regrout when it is cracked, soft or failing. A free visit tells you which.

How often should grout be sealed?

Cement grout in showers and busy floors benefits from sealing every one to two years. Epoxy and urethane grout do not need sealing.

Is epoxy grout worth it?

In showers, kitchens, counters and commercial floors it often is, because it resists stains and moisture very well and needs no sealing.

Showers and caulk

Why does mildew keep coming back in my shower?

Moisture, soap and porous grout feed it. Cleaning, sealing, fresh silicone caulk and good ventilation help, and epoxy grout helps a lot.

How soon can I use the shower after regrouting?

It depends on the product. We give exact timing, often a day for cement grout and sooner for light use with epoxy.

Should the corners be caulked or grouted?

Corners and changes of plane move, so they should be caulked with flexible silicone.

Tile and stone

Can marble that has been etched be repaired?

Yes. Honing and polishing remove etching, and sealing helps protect the stone afterward.

What cleaner is safe for natural stone?

A pH-neutral cleaner made for stone. Avoid vinegar, lemon, bleach and abrasive powders.

Can cracked or loose tile be fixed without replacing the floor?

Often yes. We reset loose tile and replace cracked pieces, then regrout and seal the area.

The work and the cost

How long does a regrout take?

A bathroom floor often takes a day. Showers and larger floors take longer, including cure time. We give a schedule in the written scope.

How do I compare quotes?

Compare written scopes: area, steps, products, caulk, sealing and what happens if loose tile is found. Our cost guide explains what drives the price.

Do you handle commercial and rental properties?

Yes. We schedule around business hours, tenants and turnover calendars.
