Match or contrast
A grout close to the tile color blends the tiles into a calm, continuous surface. A contrasting color outlines each tile and highlights the pattern.
Both are valid. It depends on whether you want calm or character.
Light grout
White and light gray grout feel bright and clean, and they make small bathrooms look larger. They show dirt and stains more, so sealing and gentle care matter.
Epoxy keeps light colors cleaner for longer.
Dark grout
Charcoal and dark gray grout hide stains and give tile a graphic look. They can show soap film and hard water deposits and may show lighter haze.
They suit modern spaces and busy floors.
Mid-tones and neutrals
Warm grays, taupes and soft beiges are forgiving and work with many tile colors. They are among the safest choices for resale.

Test in your light
Colors change with light. Test samples on your own tile in morning, afternoon and evening. Remember that most grout cures lighter than it looks wet.
We bring samples to the visit.
Think about the room
Showers, floors and backsplashes live differently. A shower may call for a color that hides soap and minerals. A kitchen backsplash may hide splatter.
Choose for the room, not just the tile.
Test real samples in your own light and choose for how the room is used.
