Dark, stained grout lines lifted back to their original color with deep cleaning that reaches below the surface.
Grout is porous. Think of it as a hard sponge between your tiles, and every spill, footprint, splash and cleaning product soaks a little way in. Over months and years that buildup turns bright lines gray, brown or black, and ordinary mopping only pushes dirty water back into the pores. A bleach spray or a scrub brush may lighten the surface for a week, but the stain comes back because what is below the surface is still there.
We clean grout the way professionals do it. A cleaner matched to the soil, such as alkaline for grease and acid for mineral buildup, is applied and given time to work. Then we agitate the lines and rinse with hot water and extraction, which pulls the loosened dirt out instead of leaving it behind. We protect cabinets, baseboards and nearby surfaces, test an inconspicuous spot first and tell you honestly when stains are in the grout itself and recoloring or regrouting is the better answer.
Grease, soap scum, hard water and mildew each need a different chemistry, so we identify the soil before choosing a product.
Hot water rinsing with extraction removes loosened dirt from the pores instead of pushing it around the floor.
Natural stone and some glazes react badly to harsh acids, so we choose safe products for each surface.
If stains are deep or the grout is crumbling, we explain what cleaning can and cannot do before you spend more.
