Final cleaning, haze removal, grout touch-ups and sealing that bring new tile jobs to a handoff-ready standard.
New tile rarely looks new at the end of construction. Thinset splatter, grout haze, paint drips, drywall dust and footprints cover the surface. Grout may be uneven, with pinholes or color variation, and sealer is often skipped or applied to dirty tile. Builders and tile installers are busy moving to the next house, and the last details are what owners and buyers notice during their walk-through.
We finish tile at the end of the build. We remove construction residue and haze, clean grout and tile thoroughly, touch up pinholes and uneven lines, caulk corners and transitions and seal grout and stone as specified. We work on the builder schedule, communicate with the site superintendent and provide before-and-after photos. For custom homes, we protect finished floors and fixtures and coordinate with other trades so our work is not undone. The result is tile that looks the way the showroom promised. Superintendents tell us the best part is a single visit that clears the tile punch list before the buyer walks through. We keep a short list of preferred cleaning and sealing details for each builder, so every house follows the same standard without anyone repeating instructions, and the final photos make the handoff simple.
Thinset, haze, paint and dust are cleaned away without harming the tile.
Pinholes, low spots and uneven color are corrected before handoff.
Grout and stone are sealed on clean, dry surfaces so the finish lasts.
We coordinate with the superintendent and other trades to keep the house moving.
