Etched, scratched and dull marble ground smooth and brought back to a soft honed or deep polished finish.
Marble is beautiful and sensitive. It is made of calcium carbonate, which reacts with acids, so a splash of lemon juice, wine, vinegar or a bathroom cleaner leaves a dull, ghostly mark called an etch. Foot traffic and grit scratch polished floors, and years of cleaning residue leave a cloudy film. Owners often assume marble is ruined, but nearly all of this damage is in the top fraction of a millimeter and can be removed.
Marble restoration uses a series of diamond abrasives, starting coarse enough to remove the damage and moving through finer grits to bring back the finish you want. A honed finish is soft and matte and hides wear well. A polished finish is glossy and reflective. We protect the surrounding walls, cabinets and fixtures, control the slurry and clean up completely. Then we seal the stone and teach you how to care for it, including which products to never use. Floors, counters, vanities and showers can all be restored.
A sequence of fine diamond pads removes scratches and etching and builds the finish step by step.
You choose between a soft matte hone and a glossy polish, and we explain the trade-offs.
Walls, cabinets and fixtures are covered and slurry is contained.
Marble is sealed afterward and you learn which cleaners are safe.

Yes. Honing removes etching, and polishing can restore shine.
Honed is soft and matte. Polished is glossy. Honed finishes hide etching and scratches better.
Acids will etch marble again, so the right habits matter. Sealing helps with stains, not etching.
A bathroom floor often takes a day. Larger areas take longer.
We contain slurry and clean up thoroughly.
